Week 34, Day 2: Approaching God

Read and meditate upon how these verses relate to approaching God.

Hebrews 11:6 (NKJ) – But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Psalm 73:28 (NKJ) – But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all Your works.

Isaiah 55:3 (NIV) – Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

John 14:6 (NKJ) – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Hebrews 7:24-25 (NIV) – Because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Prayer of Confession: Lord, in light of the verses above, when it comes to approaching You, I confess that ____________________________________.
