Week 15, Day 5: Worth Passing On

Spiritual Discipline to Practice: Guidance

The spiritual discipline of guidance goes hand in hand with the idea of submission. When we allow the Lord to guide us, we’re not merely asking Him a bunch of questions, we’re really dedicated to patiently wait for clear direction from Him. God speaks to us many ways: in nature, in dreams, through sermons, and even through trusted Christians in our lives who are also in tune with God. No matter how God chooses to speak, though, remember that His word will always be confirmed by His word, the Bible.

Sharing God’s word and love with others is always in line. However, when there’s a hard thing to say, don’t move until you’re sure you’ve heard from God. His timing and His manner are always perfect.

This weekend, following God’s guidance, share some point of good news of the Gospel with someone.
