Week 12, Day 4 – Close Enough to Trust

Monday’s devotion mentioned, “We can approach [Jesus] as Mary did if we are close to Him as well. Our closeness with Him increases our understanding of Him, enhances our trust in Him, and enriches our communion with Him.

  •  Increased understanding of Him – What new thing have you come to understand about Jesus from the verses you’ve read this week? (You may want to go back and review John 2:3-5, Luke 6:46-49, John 15:14, and Matthew 15:8-9.)
  • Enhanced trust in Him – How has your trust in Jesus been enhanced?
  • Enriched communion with Him – How have you grown closer to Jesus this week?

Journal here your further thoughts about trusting Jesus. Include ways in which God is leading you toward new or more trust. Also, express your gratefulness here and thank God for a Savior we can trust.

Prayer of Supplication: Dear God, thank you for another chance to trust You fully in the area(s) of… I am grateful for the changes I will soon see in myself.
